Description
The T2 is Thunder’s newest axle.
Compared to the standard Thunder, the TII is 3 millimeters higher. This helps prevent wheel bite, allows for the use of larger wheels without riser pads, and improves steering response.
Furthermore, the hanger would be moved slightly back. This shortens the wheelbase slightly, making your board even easier to turn. Furthermore, your wheels would be positioned a bit further inboard, which helps with nose and tail slides.
Thunder Trucks are especially known for their good steering characteristics, which makes them one of our team favorites.
The Thunder truck is light and responsive with an extra hard kingpin.
New, more stable baseplate construction with rounded edges for better slides.
Medium bushings with 90A hardness and new design for more direct power transmission.
100A pivot cups.
The 149s have an 8.5 inch wide axle and are perfect for decks from 8.375 to 8.75 inches wide.
The height to the center of the axle on the 148 axle is 54 millimeters.
